Terms of service

The agreement

These terms are between you and the operator of Raw Vault. They cover your use of the app at rawvault.co and any installed copy of it. By creating an account you accept them.

Your account

Give accurate details when you register, keep your password to yourself, and remember that you are responsible for what happens under your account. A team seat is for one person, so pick the seat count that matches your team.

The free trial

Starter carries a 7-day free trial, started inside the app with no card and nothing charged. It can be taken once per account. When it ends nothing renews on its own: you carry on only if you subscribe.

Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

• Plan prices are the ones shown on the pricing page. Plans are monthly or annual.
• A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.
• You can cancel any time in your account. You keep everything your plan includes until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Extra team seats are charged per seat at the seat rate shown on the pricing page.
• If we change a plan’s price, we tell you before the change applies to your next renewal.

Payments

Card payments are taken by our payment provider on their own secure page. By subscribing or renewing you authorise them to charge your card for the plan and seats you selected. If a payment fails, access may be interrupted until it is settled. Prices are in the currency shown, and taxes are added where they apply.

Refunds

Except where the law requires otherwise, fees you have already paid are not refunded, and cancelling stops the next charge rather than refunding the current period. If something has gone wrong with a payment, write to us and we will look at it.

Research is a starting point, not advice

Research snapshots are written by AI from published literature and public regulatory sources. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and ingredient identities and regulatory status must be checked against the source documents and your own QA and regulatory review before you rely on them. Nothing in the app is legal, regulatory, medical or formulation advice, and the decisions you take about what to source or sell are yours.

Your content

What you enter or upload stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it back to you, and to share it with your team where you choose to share it. That permission lasts as long as we need it to run the service. Only upload documents and photos you have the right to keep.

Fair use

• Do not use the app for anything unlawful.
• Do not try to reach another account’s data, or the app’s internals.
• Do not resell, republish or bulk-harvest research output, or run automated research at a volume that abuses the service or the sources it draws on.
• Do not upload malicious files or interfere with the service for anyone else.

Third-party services and connectors

Research draws on third-party literature and AI models, and connectors such as Google Calendar are provided by others under their own terms. When one of those services is unavailable, the part of the app that depends on it may be too.

Availability and changes to the service

The app is provided as it is. Booth capture works without a signal and syncs when you are back online; the other features need a connection. We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.

Our liability

To the extent the law allows: the app comes with no warranty that the research or any other output is accurate or fit for a particular purpose, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel your subscription and close your account whenever you want. We may end this agreement on reasonable notice, or immediately if these terms are breached.

Governing law

These terms follow the laws of the place where the operator of Raw Vault is established, and its courts handle disputes, without taking away any rights you have where you live.
