Privacy policy

What Raw Vault collects, why, and how to control it — in plain English. Last updated 27 October 2026.

What this policy covers

Raw Vault is a research and trade-show companion for supplement professionals, served at rawvault.co and as an installable app. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

  • The account you create: your name, email address and the sign-in method you choose.
  • What you enter or capture: vendor and supplier details, ingredient research, event and booth details, hit lists, meeting and seminar notes, photos and files you upload, notes and ratings.
  • Your business cards: the details you put on a card. They are shown to whoever you choose to share or scan that card with.
  • Billing details: your plan, its status, invoices and a customer reference from our payment provider. Card numbers are entered on the payment provider’s own page and are never stored in Raw Vault.
  • How the app is used: sign-in times, the pages and features you open, your device and browser, an approximate location from your IP address, and error logs.
  • Anything you connect: if you connect Google Calendar, we read the events needed to bring your meetings across, and nothing else in your calendar.

What we do with it

We use your data to run your account and the research, capture and reporting features you use; to take and manage payments; to send the emails you trigger, such as a research snapshot to your own inbox or a sample follow-up nudge; to keep the app secure and working; and to see which parts of the app are used so we can improve them.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the providers that make the app work, and only as far as each one needs it. We do not sell your personal data.

  • Our platform provider, which hosts the app and its database.
  • Our payment provider, which processes card payments, invoices and refunds.
  • Our email service, which delivers the emails the app sends you.
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement on our public pages, which tells us how people find Raw Vault.
  • Any service you connect yourself, such as Google Calendar.
  • Where the law requires it, such as a valid legal request.

AI in the research feature

To write a research snapshot, the company name, ingredient name and any notes you add are sent to an AI model. Do not put confidential or personal information into those fields.

Where it is stored and how long we keep it

Your data is stored on our platform provider’s infrastructure. Records stay while your account is open. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we remove your records and the working copies used to run the service, except what we are required to keep for accounting and tax.

Your choices and rights

  • See and correct what you have saved: everything you enter is editable in the app.
  • Delete individual records whenever you want, or ask us to close your account and delete your data.
  • Export your work: research snapshots, hit lists and show debriefs download as PDFs.
  • Control local storage: the app keeps your sign-in session on your device and caches pages so it still works without a signal. Clearing your browser storage signs you out.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, or object to certain processing. Write to us and we will act on it.

Children

Raw Vault is a business tool for professionals. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we update the date below. Where a change matters to you, we will tell you in the app or by email.
